Recovery of Waste Acid and Alkali by Membrane Process

Waste acid and alkali are common names, but they are complicated to be born. Because they come from different industries, the composition is complex, and many of them are hazardous wastes.
Waste acid and alkali have the problems of wide sources and scattered industries. More than 90% of the waste acid is sulfuric acid, and the waste alkali is mostly sodium hydroxide. Take waste acid as an example. Waste acid is produced in a wide range of industries and enterprises, with large amount, wide distribution, strong toxicity and difficult management.

Characteristics of waste acid and alkali:
(1) The impact is great. In recent years, there have been frequent incidents of waste acid and alkali pollution.
(2) There are many problems, because it is difficult to handle and the cost is high, many companies illegally  discharge, transfer and dump.
(3) Wide range
(4) The hazard is great, and the ecosystems such as soil and river will be affected.
